IMPORTANT UPDATE:
WINDHAVEN (WIC) RECEIVERSHIP
As previously mentioned, Windhaven (WIC) is being put into receivership by the state of Florida effective January 6th, 2020. All 73,000 Windhaven customers will receive a cancellation notice if they are currently in good standing and every policy will cancel on or before Febraury 5, 2020.
If you are a current Windhaven customer, now is the time you should be checking for other carriers, quotes, and rates. Many insurance carriers may offer you a better rate if you purchase coverage at least one week prior to the effective date. That means (most likely) the deadline to get the best rate is January 28th.
